Adventure Guide to New Mexico
Published in Paperback by Hunter Publishing, Inc. (July, 1996)
Average review score:

See the Real New Mexico!I used this book as a guide for a two-week driving trip through New Mexico. It was fantastic! I was especially glad I took it along -- because I lost a day due to a flat tire and it was so easy to change my plans and not feel like I was missing out on something great. The details are excellent and the authors must have truly enjoyed researching the restaurants, lodging, and points of interest. Good choices, all!

Anatomy in Diagnostic Imaging
Published in Paperback by W B Saunders (15 May, 2001)
Average review score:

A must for radiology residentsFleckenstein's Radiologic Anatomy is a fundamental, yet comprehensive text that every radiology resident must have. It explores in detail all of the major systems: gastrointestinal, genitourinary, musculoskeletal, head and neck, thoracic, and even vascular. It may very well be the only radiologic anatomy book needed for residency training. Although Netter's Anatomy is a more than appropriate companion.

Athletic Training Management: Concepts and Applications
Published in Hardcover by McGraw Hill College Div (29 June, 2000)
Average review score:

Excellent resourceDrs. Rankin and Ingersoll have taken the art of management and applied it to health care. This book has a target audience of athletic trainers but it is approproiate for any health care facility. The selection and progression of chapters assists the student in learning the complex subject of management. They have done an excellent job of presenting various views in a non-partial manner. Well recommended!

Bene-Dictions: Poems

About searching past the currents that ordinary lifeBene-Dictions is an impressive and engaging collection of deftly written and dramatic poetry by Rush Rankin (Winner of the Vassar Miller Prize in Poetry 2002) about searching past the currents that ordinary life tend to push one and extending one's thought beyond conventional boundaries, inspirational in the bravado of its outreach. "Why This Poem?" - "Its intentions are clear as the air in a beehive. / It's not a surrogate for a kind of absence. / It declares itself like a finger. Cicero / would have kept this poem in a leather pouch / and carried it on his back as he fled the city."

The Brentford Chainstore Massacre
Published in Hardcover by Transworld Publishers Ltd (04 December, 1997)
Average review score:

An extremely gripping readFor anyone who has read any of the Brentford trilogy this bookis simply a must. The adventures of Jim Pooley and John Omally yetagain never fail to completely abosrb and entertain the reader. Although some may find that what goes on in these novels are slightly far fetched this is the point entirely and the simple fact remains that it is entertainment of the highest degree. Robert Rankin describes himself as a teller of tall tales and this book is no exception, with a mad scientist making clones of Jesus using DNA from the Turin Shroud and the town of Brentford hosting millenium celebrations two years early in order to get it out the way with less fuss (while also being the first to take advantage of millenium funding). I would reccomend reading the other four 'Brentford' novels, The Antipope, The Brentford Triangle, East of Ealing and The Sprouts of Wrath, before reading this as it will allow you to familiarise yourself with the characters and also grow to love them and be excited at the thought of another ecounter with all of the great characters. The book focuses on two lay-abouts who are admired by myself for their lifestyle and the aventures which they get into, and is a thrilling tale as they once again go into battle with the forces of evil. This book is not all serious good vs evil stuff though as it contains much humour of which I found myself unable to control my laughter in a quiet room full of people after a riot was caused in the most funny of circumstances. If humourous science fiction is what you're looking for then this is certainly your cup of tea and comes with my highest recommendations.

A comic masterpiece! This book had me laughing from cover to cover thanks to the exploits of Pooley, Omally and Co. Never before has such a humourous alien conspiracy story been told and with the unlikeliest of heroes too!! A compeling read!

By What Name are You Called
Published in Paperback by Buy Books on the web.com (2000)
Average review score:

TunnardFrom the first page the writter holds your attention, the descriptions of space and its vastness flow easily from his pen. The battle details are as though you were really there pulling the firing pin. The names and places invented in the story are amazing, the illustrations unique. But then you should decide all that for yourself.
